30 short train journeys will be suspended from next Monday (Jan. 16), Sri Lanka Railways says.

The suspended train journeys include 18 on the main line, 08 on the coastal line as well as 02 journeys each on the Puttalam and Kelani Valley lines.

The measure is taken to minimize inconvenience to passengers and to reduce costs.
